Lyn Valley is the latest project from Tony, Clair, and their family. A name synonymous with hospitality in this village for over thirty years. Having previously owned and steered local favorites like The Rising Sun, The Rock House and The Sandpiper Inn in Countisbury, they have spent decades welcoming visitors to this unique corner of North Devon.
After years at the helm of some of the area’s busiest inns, Lyn Valley represents a move toward something a bit more personal. It’s a relaxed coastal retreat where they’ve distilled thirty years of experience into a simpler, more hands-on way of hosting.
As a family-run business, we take pride in the small things from the way a room is prepared to sharing our favorite "locals-only" walks on Exmoor. For Tony and Clair, hospitality isn't just a job; it’s about making sure you feel as settled and welcome in Lynmouth as we do.

"Lovely inn very near the water's edge. The West Lyn and East Lyn rivers join together just outside the front door and both spill into the Atlantic less than a five-minute walk away. The room was spacious, clean, modern... The breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of choices. All served with a smile!!
